In certain cases when you are missing teeth for a long time and bone support is gone, implants are a great complement to dentures. They can help to anchor dentures to your mouth. These are called overdentures. These will give you assurance that your dentures will not fall out and you’ll be able to enjoy the food you once used to.

Immediate Full Dentures
When the remaining teeth in your mouth cannot be saved, immediate dentures are one option. Prior to removing any remaining unhealthy teeth, we take measurements to custom fit dentures to your mouth. On the same day when you have your teeth removed the dentures are immediately placed in your mouth. The benefit is that you do not have to spend any time without teeth. You will, however, need to have a follow up visit to refit your dentures because the jaw bone will slightly change shape as your mouth heals. These dentures will need to be adjusted more than any other type.
